New Social Group | Updated 4 Jan 2018
A brand new social group is launching on Tuesday 16th January at Shurlach Methodist Church Hall, for Rudheath & Witton residents aged 55 and over.
The group is being launched by Rudheath & Witton Together and Cheshire Community Development Trust as part of Project 55 – a scheme which working with other local organisations is helping to prevent loneliness, social isolation, helping residents to play an active part in their community and improving their wellbeing.
The social group will meet every Tuesday 1-3pm and will run a variety of activities from visiting speakers, learning new skills and board games and chat.
We will be fuelled by plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits!
In the future we hope to be able to organise trips out to the cinema and to other local attractions.
Come along to add suggestions on what you would like our new social group to do in 2018.
Weekly meeting are all FREE.
Wellbeing Day | Updated 12 Dec 2017
A few weeks ago we held a Wellbeing Day for residents aged 55 and over at Northwich Memorial Court. Lots of our partners had stalls at the event, including Transition Northwich, Brio and St Helen's Church. Rudheath Bowls Club even gave visitors the chance to try indoor bowls!
